Hey i got some hi-life cat food today.
The reason i got it is because it said it was pure fish and it had like 70%+ of fish which is really good.No deprivatives btw !!!
Can anyone tell me if this is good or bad cat food ?

My cat really loves it and with the purina one it gets about55% protein !!!!

Which is about right for kittys

I've never heard of it but I dont think I'd put my cats on a pure fish diet. From what I've heard, fish diets can contribute to various problems.

I feed hi-life, it is a good quality food. I would also get a box of the meat varieties, and a box of the poultry varieties, and then alternate them with the fish. Feeding the fish one is fine, but it's better to feed a diet that is more meat than fish.

Hi Life is a very good food. The only thing you need to be careful of is that some of them are complementary rather than complete which means they don't provide all the nutrients a cat needs by themselves. But as you're feeding the purina too (which is a complete food) you don't need to worry about that.

Hi Life is a very good quality cat food. Oddly enough, my girls refuse to eat the complete but will quite happily eat the complementary stuff! They prefer Nutro pouches though so I only give them Hi Life as a very occasional treat
