I would write out a PRO and CON list of things and then go from there.Sometimes we react with our hearts, and then sit back and wonder why we didn't think with our brains.
Your grandbaby is LUCKY to have you!!!

I have already thought about the pros and cons, and to be honest, I really can't think of that many cons against it. I would be away from my home for one week at a time, but that would be my choice, and that is because I wouldn't want to drive an hour there and then an hour back each day. I would already have to leave my house by 5:15 every day. My daughter has to leave her house by 6:30 every day to meet her car pool and then drive to work.

Jimmy won't care, he is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited about this baby too, and if that is what I wanna do then it will be all right with him. I don't work to help pay bills or anything, we have always used my money to have extra spending money. So that won't be a problem with me quitting my job.

I don't know what you do for work, but if it has any benefits like retirement, make sure that you account for that in your plan. It might be that Desiree pays you something that you can tuck away in an IRA. Or it might not be part of the equation as your retirement is covered by your husband's salary.

We have not decided that this is what we are gonna do, it is just an option right now, she is gonna look into the other day cares, but like I said before the waiting list is long.

She knows someone else that might be willing to take on a baby, this person does it in her home, she is also gonna check on that.

We are just trying to come up with a plan or something.

No my work has nothing for benifits, and I am covered by my husbands insurance. I don't have any stocks and bonds or anything like that but my husband does.

I think that you should if you really want to! It doesn't sound like there is very much con to doing it, so it's like a win win for everyone

DesirÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]e told me that her MIL had told her before that she would quit her job too, I don't know if she really would though. I am just not sure, she has a pretty flexible job.

But I do know that I would quit in a heartbeat if I had to.

I wish DesirÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]e could be a stay at home Mommy but that is just not possible.
