My New Kittens

Hello Everyone,

I'm so happy to have found this wonderful place. Maybe now I can give my poor friends and co-workers a break from my constant cat-talk and bore you all instead!

I have two 6 month old kittens who are called Orange Pekoe (really just Pekoe) and Nigel. I adopted them a little over a month ago from the Humane Society and think they're both absolute perfection. Okay, so maybe Pekoe does like to wake me up in the middle of the night to "nurse" on my ear. And maybe I did need to give Nigel an impromptu bath the other night because he got himself absolutely flithy from rolling in the litter. But I still couldn't love them any more.

We love multi-cat families, as you can no doubt tell....Pekoe and Nigel sound like nonstop fun and it's easy to imagine how lovable they must be. Maybe we'll get to see some pix soon (the Sticky's at the top of the page of posts tell how)? We love photos at TheCatSite, and you'll undoubtedly want one of the talented artistes to do siggy(ies) for you, too!

We are all rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered of course! felines, ranging from Nicolas T. Cat, who's going on 17 and King for Life, to Baby Suha "the Terrible", at just two (and the essence of her nickname lol). Our devoted servant has lived with, loved, rescued, and advoCATed for cats all her life, and twelve of our beloved brothers and sisters are in sanctuary in your wonderful country right now (due to unwanted divorce/forced relocation). We love our Canadian friends!

Hi welcome to TCS, this is a great place filled with lots of great people, thanx for adopting ur two little angels its always funner to get them in pairs although none of ours came that way well we rescued all of our kitties from a different place, and well bella was abandoned on the streets and stormie was in a bad situation and midnight was left behind, and blue and tessa were at a private rescuers place, and willie he came from the animal rescue league here I cant wait to see photos of ur 2 bundles of joy we photos here !!!! Well see u on the fourms

Here's the two of them just a few days after I got them. They're shameless about begging for attention and snuggles, both from me and from each other.

Congrats on you two new babies, they really sound adorable. Waking you up and getting dirty in the litter box is just a few things they do but you just gotta love em. I haven't had kittens in 14 years and I do miss their antics. Good luck to them and hope they have happy, healthy lives.

I think they figure I'm just a funny looking kitten too, because often the three of us end up in a kitten pile together. Somehow we're usually all squished in the same 5 square feet of space instead of using all of my apartment...
