I love Beagles

This is my cutie beagle, Cassie.





She is adorable, but when she comes to visit, this is her reaction to seeing my cats.

We had a beagle, Angel, years ago. Liked cats.

Also a great hunting dog - but only if my uncle went bow hunting. Angel hated guns. (OUr dog, but Uncle would borrow her for hunting.)

yes. Cassie is like that. She is/was my dad's dog for hunting. She replaced our first dog, Sheba a few years ago when old Sheb retired and eventually passed.

My dad had no patience for Cassie. She is way bad and lives with me on off season, but my new apartment doesn't allow dogs so dad isn't having very much fun this winter.

Cassie is such a sweetheart!

I too have a major soft spot for hounds. I'm getting a basset hound puppy in May or June (it's starting to look more like June), and I can't wait.

Cutie! I never seen a beagle with that sort of ticking before. Is she from hunting stock?

When my dad went to pick out a new puppy, he went to the same guy we got old Sheb from, and there were about 8 puppies and Cassie was the only one with the blue tick in her, the rest looked like regular beagles. The guy said her grandfather was a blue tick hound.

She's so skinny! We've been trying to get some meat on those bones, but she's just not a big eater.

That makes sense

All the beagles I've known were huge eaters. She definately stands out
