Our two kittens are infested with fleas! I've just given them their 2nd flea bath, but they still have tons of them! I picked up some flea killer called Zodiac FleaTrol. it works like Advantage or Revolution. Has anyone tried it?

This fountain was purchased because it was not plastic and saw it on a site on constipation for cats and was promoted as one that cats would use. However, it is expensive. It is very heavy,...

I had to use a dropper with this since it was kind of hard to put it in my cat's ears. I cleaned my cats ears first, then I put the R-7M cleaner in her ears. Next, I inserted 10 drops into each...

It is the most economical litter I have ever used. I only put a layer of litter in the pan that will cover half the pan. As the cats use it, it turns to sawdust. When its all dust you dump it....

This is probably the single most important toy I ever bought. I got it when my boy was a kitten and two years later, he still plays with it every day.

PLEASE don't use anything over the counter on kittens until you get your vet's okay. Some of the stuff can be really toxic and cause them to be sick. Call you vet and in the meantime, use a flea comb and comb them out. Bathing them often is not the answer either especially if they are young. They make flea spot on for kittens but your vet carries this.

Thanks. It's just difficult to get them to the vet... Not alot of money right now, nor time, especially with me starting a new job on Friday. I checked on that Advantage stuff, they want like $10.95 for a 1 month application. I don't want them to suffer from the fleas any longer than they have to though, but they'll have to wait at least another 3 weeks until I get my first paycheck.

Until you can get Advantage, comb the kittens every day with a flea comb, and deposit the fleas into soapy water (the little devils can swim, and will climb black up your drains is you just dump them down the sink). You will also have to be obsessive about cleaning your home. When you vacuum, be sure to immediately take the bag out of the house to throw away. Once you get the Advantage, you may also want to invest in a household flea killer, just be sure to take the kitties out of the house when you apply it.

Well, took the kittens to the vet today to get their shots, and got them some Advantage. Had to use my clothes money to do it, but the babies are more important than having clothes to wear to work (Just started a new job, business professional dress code, and I own 2 good interview outfits that qualify.) Hopefully the flea problem will go away now. I asked about the Zodiac FleaTrol I got OTC, they said it was OK for the cats, but it worked about as well as the flea bath stuff i.e. would kill a few fleas for a few days, but they'd come back right away. Kitties checked out good, get to take them back in 3 weeks for the 3rd set of shots.
