I got her easily today after feeding her three times inside the cat carrier. So she is now locked in my spare bathroom with all the necessaries, and plenty of space and things to climb on, since I am using it as a store room until the kitchen gets finished. I will leave her to get familiar with the place and then start to get to know her slowly. There is no great hurry now that she is out of harm's way, but I will get her to the vet for a checkup next week. There are a corridor and two doors between her and the other cats, so that will not be a problem. And none of them have been in that bathroom for at least three months so I think she will be safe from ringworm as long as I observe hygiene rules.

Well done Jenny,

Now you have got closer to her, have you a better idea of her age?

She is hiding from me right now, though she has eaten everything I left for her last night. She meows when I call, but won't come out from behind the cupboard. I have left her some more food and later I will go and sit in the bathroom and see if she comes out. She is very scared, and I can't blame her. I won't get her age till I take her tot he vet. She is very small and I doubt she is more than 5 months, but I could be wrong.

She came out of hiding tonight, ate in my presence and then jumped up on a chest of drawers and groomed herself, quite relaxed. So I hope it won't be too long before she is headbutting.
