Do you think that the quality of cat food has gone down?

No actually the opposite ... if your looking at the true premium brands ... They are constantly researching and "improving " cat foods ... So if your at a pet store and going with known natural brands your choice s are better than just a few yrs ago ...

Good, That's nice to hear. It does seem challeging to find a good brand though. My Bindi ears Wet Innova Evo. and dry solid gold, Tom eats dry solid gold but once I caught him trying to eat innova evo. I heard its very rich maybe too much for a cat his age. Today as I'm posting this I have Bindi locked in my room, my dad is cleaning the kitchen I dont want him to get Pine sol on his paws again.http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/ima...s/rolleyes.gif

I think in the UK things are getting better. It used to be whiskas and go-cat when I was a child, but with online ordering the pet shops and supermarkets are trying to keep up. I can get good quality food in the supermarket now, which is superb

I have to agree. It's much easier nowadays to get higher quality pet food. There are so many online shops offering high-quality food that even supermarkets are upgrading their range. That's not to say that I think any old brand offered at supermarkets is acceptable, but the range is much wider, and a lot of consumers seem to be better informed.

I think it is much easier to find premium foods, my local pet store doesn't stock foods like whiskas and cat chow at all anymore and will actively educate customers on better foods, give you samples of foods to try before buying (or for a $1 for the ones that they are not allowed to give for free)
