Kitty and I say "Hi!"

Garbanzo and I just wanted to say hello !

"Banzo" is a the cutest calico, 10 years old and extremely vocal. It drives me bonkers sometimes, but her cuteness makes up for it . She's been the family cat since kittenhood and, of course, has firmly established herself as boss of the house.

She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism today which is how we found our way to TCS. But we're already feeling better and in less of a panic thanks to everybody here.

I'm on an extended stay in North Carolina, where I grew up, but usually I'm living in Los Angeles. Right now I'm missing the west coast like NUTS.

I'm generally a techy-nerd-forum lurker, and it never occurred to me exactly how mean and nasty it can get in some of those forums until I saw how kind everyone is here. I'm happy to see that everyone at TCS is so supportive of each other. What a nice discovery .

I also have a calico, Molly who is 8 now & Lucky the orange kitty who is also 8. Then there is Ben the kitty terror who is about 5 months old.
