In this time of great sadness for all of us, I'd like all of you to do one thing...and as soon as possible.

Count your blessings, infact, write them all down. Each and every one of them, big or small.

Add Amber to your list. We were blessed by her integrity, strength and her joie de vive. We've been blessed by the sight of her beautiful child and the man that loves her was with her.

There is a reason for everything and sooner or later why something happened will become clear.

So here's my list of blessings:

1. I love and am loved
2. I have a roof over my head and food to eat
3. I have a wonderful family who supports me in all my endeavors
4. I have 13 wonderful cats and 2 litters on the way
5. I am a good friend and I have good friends in return
6. I have joined a cyber community that laughs and cries with me
7. I have made a virtual friend called Amber and she brought joy to my life
8. She delivered to us a beautiful girl child called Kaelyn, whom has been adopted by many aunts and uncles around the world

.

I told everyone I care about how I feel about them both last night and today. I am reminded that life is short and we must let those we love know that.

Yup. Ditto. (Except 6 cats with no litters on the way). I didn't know Amber well because I haven't spent much time in the Lounge until very recently. But that takes nothing away from how much she brought to so many.

1. I have a family who loves and cares for me no matter what.
2. I have friends who love me
3. I have a safe, clean place to live in
4. I eat healthy food and benefit from it
5. I have a beautiful, sweet cat who loves me dearly, and I would do anything to keep him happy and safe. He means all the world to me.
6. I have a good education.
7. There are so many people that I love in this world, and it doesn't matter who they are or where they are from. Just knowing who they are is a blessing in itself.
8. I live in a beautiful, vast country with democracy and peace, which I love with all my heart.

I fell blessed for everything that I have! Everyone should count their blessings daily and give thanks for them! And thank you all at TCS - we are all a huge family that loves and supports each other!

1. I have a strong and loving (and large!) family that loves me, and who I love.
2. I have a wonderful future husband who shows his love and support through everything.
3. I have a talent and ability to make music
4. I have people in my life who foster that ability and want to see me succeed
5. I have a roof over my head and enough food to eat.
6. I have 3 wonderful and silly cats who brighten my life
7. I have friends, both that I see in person and those who I do not.
8. I have a healthy body with 2 legs that work, 2 arms that work, 2 eyes that work and a brain and heart that work.
9. I have a job that enriches my life and helps my community and our furry friends that are in need and are so often ignored by society

Great idea! Here's my blessings:

1. My family and friends...their love and support is like no other.
2. My home...it may be a dump, but it's MY dump, and it keeps my family warm and safe.

3. My children at school...they've shown me that disability is really less about what we cannot do, and more about having more heart and courage than I will ever have!
4. The little things in life, that really are the things that keep me LIVING...such as food, clothing, medical care, etc. The things most of us take forgranted.

Ditto on everything else that was mentioned above.

What a wonderful thread.......I have many of the same blessings as you, but I always like to remind you all of how much you mean to me. Although we may not ever meet in person, you are as important to me as if we have! The internet is a wonderful thing at times, because it brought us all together!

3. I have found some very good friends that have helped me during my medical problems
4. I have 4 cats that drive me nuts and 2 fish
5. I have had the chance and great luck to have seen alot of the world
6. I have made a virtual friend called Amber, who made me smile and laugh on this site

This is a great idea - it makes you think:

1. I have a loving and supportive family, including my parents who are still alive at 93 and we are very lucky to have them with us.
2. I have a daughter who has made her own way in life without causing problems to me or anyone else, and who is a good friend.
3. I have four wonderful cats whose personalities make me laugh every day.
4. I am grateful for a good education that has enabled me to achieve many of my goals in life.
5. I have had a wonderful and satisfying career that took me all over the world and helped me make many friends and learn so much.
6. I am happy that I have been able to contribute a tiny bit to helping those less fortunate than me in wartorn areas of the world.
7. I am lucky in being able to choose where I want to live and in being able to support myself and my animals without worrying all the time.
8. I am part of the most amazing online community that I could ever have imagined, and can laugh and cry with them at all times, as well as giving and receiving support when we need it.
