An Update on the baby

John I am going to give you a bit of advice on the clothes. You can get premmie clothes but after say her first month or so always buy the clothes bigger than her actual age because they grow fast and they won't last her too long anyway. Except shoes they are sized different. But on the clothes lets say she is 2 months old then you need to buy clothes for about 4 months old. but they will come in the 3-6 month anyway.

Thank you so much for the update, John. Kaelyn is such a cutie, and she'll be nice and plump in no time! I certainly hope that you get custody of her!

She is so beautiful. Brandon had to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks after he was born because he was 6 weeks early. Don't worry, she'll start breathing well. At least she is just on oxygen, Brandon was on a vent.

Thanks for the update John! Sounds like things are progressing well for her. she is such a little doll! I'm glad to hear what you said about them wanting her to go home to someone she knows and not foster care. She needs to be with her Daddy! And thats YOU!

She looks great John. I know its hard seeing her with all the wires. my youngest was 7 weeks early and in NICU for 2 weeks. But she looks good and healthy and thats all that matters. I am so glad to hear that there are people (family and government) behind you on this. Lava girl deserves to have you in her life full time.

Shes a beauty John. Just remember Amber is watching over you guys. And knows your going to be such a GREAT daddy.

I'm so glad that DCF has stepped in and is trying to work in your favor...that gorgeous little child needs you, and you deserve to be her daddy until the end of time! I'm praying for you and your tremendously difficult situation...I wish nothing but the best for both you and baby Kaelyn.

Just a small update on Lava Girl. She hadnt peed since sometime around 10 last night so they ended up putting a catheter in. Her breathing has gotten worse so they think they might have to put her on a vent if her oxygen level doesnt get steady soon. She looked awful and shes down to 4 lbs 10 oz Tammy said its normal for them to loose some weight though. She needs some strong TCS Vibes and please pray for her. She needs all the help she can get right now.

John, she has so many here praying for her and for you too.She can feel Amber's love surrounding her too.
All babies loose weight.They loose a few ounces to a pound and then perk right back up with the weight.
I would say she hasn't peed since she isn't on the feeding tube now.But, that is just a guess.
Keep strong for her!! She needs you and you need her!!
Lord, please keep John,Amber's family and baby Kaelyn in your arms.Watch over them and let them feel your love.Let them know that Amber is in Heaven with you now and is pain free.She is their Guardian Angel now.
Let them feel comfort and strength when all they want to do is give up.Let them know how to help each other heal and help heal their broken hearts Lord.

Both you and Kaelyn have constantly been in my prayers. I'm sure she'll get through this just fine! Sounds like they are keeping a very good eye on her.

Im doing ok. Im trying my best to do ok at least. Ambers sister came over and made me eat so Im feeling a little better. Ambers mom had asked me when was the last time I ate and I couldnt remember so they sent Beth here to attack me with food. Im still in shock I cant believe this is really happening. She didnt deserve for this to happen to her. She didnt do anything wrong.

NO, she didn't deserve to die.She was young and had her whole life ahead of her.
YOU have to take care of yourself too though John.
