Do your cats wipe their paws when they're cold?

It's just Jordan... he's such a quirky cat! It's been cold and sometimes I'll wake up to him wiping his paws on the comforter before he crawls underneath. This morning I was on the couch with my computer and he was wiping his paws on the arm of the couch...

Does anyone else's cat do this?!

Hmm I'm not sure lol.
Saki sometimes does some very quick wiping/scratching motions before he sits on the bed, in certain spots. It's kind of weird.

My cat covers her nose with her paw when she's cold! She'd been doing this for ages and I just thought she was being cute! Then I read in a book that cats do this so the air passes through their fur and warms up a bit before going up the nostrils!

The only one i've seen wiping their paws is Rosie, and that's after she's been on the litter tray. Once she's jumped off she wipes each front paw down the wall, but i think it's to get rid of any particles or dust from the litter.

Or it's because she's being considerate of your floor and isn't trying to track litter? Lol, that would be my thinking anyway!
