Firefighters now prepared to save pets' lives

They did something similar to that with a local stable. They had a training seminar to teach firefighters how to handle horses in a dangerous situation. I think it's great that thier begining to teach firefighters how to save pets lives as well.

Yay! I hope that all stations make this a standard procedure!

My husband's department has those- they were also donated. Donating is a great thing because so many departments are so strapped budget wise that many volunteer departments can barely afford their bunker gear- and some can't afford it at all. Even basic stuff is hard to afford for a lot of departments. If you can get a few people together to pitch in $10 each, imagine how many of those things you could get.
