Tribute To Amber and Lava Girl

She is such a beautiful baby
This is the saddest time I have seen on TCS. May you all find peace in this difficult time.
The Last Night that She Lived

The last night that she lived,
It was a common night,
Except the dying; this to us
Made nature different.
We noticed smallest things, --
Things overlooked before,
By this great light upon our minds
Italicized, as 't were.
That others could exist
While she must finish quite,
A jealousy for her arose

I know.I guess that should be thanks.She has alot of thick long hair too. But she has hair on her ears,forhead and back. Which is a little wierd. Amber was worried that she wouldnt have hair. I wish she could have seen her.

Amber was a wonderful woman full of amazing spirit that always made me smile everytime I saw her post.
I may not have known her personally, but she was just a fantastic woman who clearly loved you, all your kits and Kaelyn very dearly.

If it makes you feel any better, know this....all the bridge babies now have a new and wonderful angel looking after them.
Also know that your baby has many, many wonderful god mommies and daddies watching over her.

HEROES
Hero - a word used not only for those
\twho seem to have 'the right stuff'
A hero can be someone who feels
\tthey've never given enough
To help others live better,
\thappier and more enriched lives.
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes
\tthey are sons, daughters, husbands and wives.
Heroes are always faithful, loyal and strong
\tThere to keep us safe whenever things go wrong
Our heroes can never be replaced
\tThe goodness of their hearts won't be erased
Heroes can be gentle
\tTeaching a child his first melody
Or brave and hearty
\tFighting for our freedoms courageously
A helping hand,

Echoes down halls of knowledge

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Amber. Most of them she hated though. But I liked them alot.

She about killed me for taking this one of her. I had to hide my cell until I could get it onto the computer.
With her niece Emily (I think) shes so pudgy. Everyone says Kaelyn looks like a skinnier version of Emily as a newborn
With the terror Lily. I dont know what to do with Lily. She hates everyone but Amber and I dont know how to get her to like me.
With her RB dog Mariah. I never got to meet Mariah but it truly shows how much Amber loved her babies in this pic. Its my favorite of all I think.
Then Hippie Amber. Her mom sent this to me a couple weeks ago. I dont know how old she was in this one 16 I think.

I dont mind at all. I cant sleep so I might as well do something other then wallow in my own misery. She sure was a cute baby. Its not fair. Amber's mom called at 12 and said that they had just left the hospital. Lava Girl was doing good and they got to hold her again. Her heartbeat keeps dropping kinda low every once in a while but then goes back up fiarly quickly so they are keeping an eye on that. But otherwise she seems to be doing pretty good. Her parents said they want me to put my name down on the birth certificate as the father. But Im still not sure. I dont want to do anything illegal.Originally Posted by StarryEyedTiGeR

John, putting your name on her birth certificate is not illegal. Amber would have put it on the certificate herself. You are Kaelyn's Dad!
I agree- besides- even though you know differently- they can't legally prove it without a dna test. i think you should put your name down- sooner rather than later to protect little kaelyn. You are her rightful father
