I know this park by my house, Hidden falls, where I love to go. If you stick close to the main trail by the parking lot when you driver down a hill you'll edventually reach a wooden bridge overlooking a stream going into the mississippi river. Gio further and your surrounded by forest keep on walking and walking and them BAM! There they are the first one growing by a steep sandy riverbank and more down along the trail as you go. http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/ima...lies/agree.gif Maulberry trees with tons of juicy sweet berries. There delicious to eat and to plenteful ignore. I cant wait for summer to begin. I know that these are safe to eat along with raspberries gooseberries and blackberries. http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/ima...ilies/love.gif

My family has a mulberry tree in our yard. Thier so yummy. When I was a kid my sister and I would walk barefoot over the berries that had fallen on the ground under the tree. Our feet would get dyed bright purple. It use to make my mom so mad

We had a mulberry tree in one corner of our yard, and I remember staring at them as a kid just waiting for them to turn that purply/black color so that my mom and I could eat them straight off the tree. She grew up on a street called Mulberry Lane actually, and I think she planted it there. My friends and I would also always eat honeysuckles, in the other corner of the yard.

I miss my house

Yeach Mualberries are great The trick is to get them off a small tree in the sun,two reasons. 1 they grow bigger and are juicer in sun. 2 smaller trees are easy to pick. Maybe I will get a blanket next summer place it under a small tree and shake the tree. That may yeld a fine crop.http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/ima...lies/agree.gif
