I worry if they eat too much. I worry if they don't eat enough. I worry that they are too fat. I worry if they meow.
It makes me think they may be sick.
Is this normal?
The Lord knew what he was doing when He did not have me marry and have children.

I love my cats so much, but I stress over the least little thing.
Does anyone else do this?

Thank goodness! I want them to be safe and happy. They are my only real family except for a 90 year old aunt.

That's funny. I thought you were talking about human children at first. (for a cat, its normal to meow, for a human????
)

My cats are my children. They don't talk back (not much, and that's only Shenandoah) and I don't have to help them with their homework or worry about gangs and unwanted pregnancies. But I do let the other get to me.

Every time! Kitties (and babies) can't tell you where it hurts so it's even more difficult in that way.

My kitties were my only family for many years (by choice) so I know exactly how you feel.

Cheers, from

Bobbie, the others have said it well. You are not alone in worrying about your furkids.
I imagine you get your fill of human kids everyday at school.

I worry about the boys all the time. I wonder if they are lonely in the apartment all day (8-Bit tells me all about the long hard day he had when I come home.) I think it's only natural.

I swear I am the worst worryier! I even had one vet clinic tell me to stop worrying so much & quit bringing my cats in(switched clinics after that!)! I worry so much about my Damita, who is now copletely blind....I don't know how much longer she'll live. Sorry, I'm being melodramamtic. It's been a tough night here on TCS.

***hugs***
I am melodramatic also, plus I am obsessive-compulsive and Lord knows what else.
Have a good day, and I am praying for Damita.

Thank you ALL for reassuring me.

I'd do the same thing. I worry if they play with each other too roughly. I would have been a horrible human mother. My children would be in therapy.
