Poor Reilly- I hope they figure out whats wrong with him at the vet.... Davidson has an appt. tomorrow, lets hope we can figure out whats wrong with our boys!

Well we just returned from our appointment with our vet.

She took his temp and checked him over and everything seemed ok. When she was feeling his belly she said he was very gassy. So she took him in the back to do a rectal poor guy!

Anyways she expressed his anal gland and tried to get a stool sample but no luck. She said there was some blood in some of the fluid she got out of his little bum (sorry for the mental picture guys!)

She said it could be an infection OR it could be parasites she said that prior to Sydney having her deworming she could have passed them on to him. So I have to try and collect a stool sample from him.

She gave us antibotics that he's going to have to take twice a day for a week and then he's going back for a follow up appointment.

He's still acting like the regular old Reilly.

When we got home from the vet's last night he had another runny poo...but at least I was able to gather a sample Dr. Nancy wants one from Sydney too.

He mustn't be feeling too bad though..he gave his daddy a good wound while giving him his pill this morning

I think that it's smart to check Sydney's too.
I know that this in not easy for Reilley or you.

My fingers are crossed that she will find the cause today.
