Grandfather died today.

Well, he's been bad for quite a while. I went on a field trip with the kids today, and when I returned to the school, the secretary gave me a message from my mom...I pretty much already knew what it was going to be.

This was my dad's father...we're all pretty devastated, but not shocked. He had a triple bypass surgery two weeks ago from today, and started dialysis for his kidneys. He's been sedated ever since, and has been on a ventilator. Today his lungs started to fill up, and we chose to take him off of the ventilator, as it was made apparent to my folks he would not be breathing on his own again.

So, it's been a pretty sad day around here. I left school early, and we're looking to have a Saturday morning service.

I am soooo sorry to hear about ur grandfathers passing, mine had passed March 31, 2006 and he died a month after he found out he had cancer and they did surgery but i am keeping u and ur family in my prayers I know how hard it can be
