I'm IRS illiterate I guess (either that or their site sucks!!!) I"m trying to find out how I correct a return from last year (in my favor - I don't owe thank god - they owe me)
But I can't find the flippin answer to my question. Anyone know anything about this tax crap?

What are you trying to find out? By the way, the IRS has a website, just key in IRS and they have questions and answers there.

H&R block
Don't trust them.
5 years ago they forgot one of my kids and had us almost file a return that showed us owing $7000 when we were due a refund that year of almost $2000 instead.
Anyways, I did manage to find out what I need to do. Unfortunately I had to call the IRS which was exactly what I was trying to avoid doing cause you're usually on hold FOREVER

But - they actually answered really quickly and I was off phone fairly fast.

So - we can close this thread now - closed because Lisa was too damn stubborn to pick up the phone and call the IRS so posted here instead.

an ice cube in Iowa...
Yeah, pop into the IRS web site, and see if that can answer your questions.

Have you ever used Turbo Tax? We use that, and it makes everything fairly easy.

Actually I've used TaxAct for 4 years now (this is the 4th) and it's only $10. It's IRS approved and it's a great site. Very simple to use instructions.
