My friends cat has chlamidia??(sp)

What exactly is that? What causes it?? Shes been saying for weeks and weeks hes had the squirts, and she finally decided today to take him in to the vet, he also has red swollen genitals....poor little guy. I guess the vets going to keep him for the night and get him started on some meds and such. Can you all keep the little guy in your thoughts and prayers please?

At least she took him to the vets. Luna had Clamidia (don't know the spelling either) and they're tiny little organisms that attach in the lining of the stomach and begin to digest the nutrients of the food.

After a week of medicine her cat will be all better!!

Oh poor baby, prayers coming his way.

Oh really? I didnt know much about it. I hope he gets better quickly, poor little guy anyways. I was mad she didnt get him in sooner. And does that give them diareah?(sp?)

yeah, its not like human chlamydia, it can give them yucky eyes too, Nike and Eros had it too. lots of vibes for the poor baby

Really? Well she did mention that he has an eye infection. As fas as I know she gets to go pick him up after bit.

yeah, the vet just gave me routine anti-biotics, and eye cream. they can actually vaccinate against it too, my babies got it before they got ther vaccs though
