Anyone heard of the Moscow Cat Theater?

One of the girls I work with is originally from the Ukraine and can get cheap tickets to this show, which is coming to Los Angeles in April. Does anyone know anything about it? I've never heard of it, but I know in some shows such as this the animals can be mistreated. I don't want to agree to go and promote anything like that. But if its all in good clean fun and they take care of the kitties then maybe it would be really neat to see?

I think I've heard of them, if it's the same group... I've seen stuff on Animal Planet and even the news about them. Apparently, this guy has trained cats to do lots of tricks. That's about all I know!
I would go, the guy seems to love his cats. He raises them in his home and uses positive reinforcement to make them do tricks. He picks up on an unusual behavior each particular cat does, and uses it to his advantage in the training sessions. One of his cats even walks on his front paws!!

Oh that's cool! The cheap tickets are gone now. I couldn't decide if I wanted to go or not. And the reular tickets are like $50-$60 per ticket!!!
Seems like a bit much to look at kitties and clowns...

Yeah, but you'd be up closer and be able to see the cats! I imagine you can't see the cats very well at all from the cheapies.

Nah, the cheapies were some that my friend got at a discounted rate because her husband knows somebody. They were actually close seats.

The $50-$60 are the cheapies for regular people!!

I've seen the show on television a couple of times. It's amazing how he's "trained" the cats to perform. They seem to love and trust the guy so much.
