Please enjoy these pics of the Unity Candle & Tapers I created for my niece's wedding a few years ago...


That is the great big Unity Candle...the script reads: One Life One Love. The silk roses were attached at the base of the candle.

Thanks everyone! I also sewed up their altar cushions...you know the ones you kneal on? Alex Jr...who is great a refinishing furniture...sanded and finished a wooden box that we delivered the candles in...would y'all like to see that?

Oh what the heck...I'll go find the pics in just a sec! LOL!

Still searching for the altar cushions & wooden box. However, I did come across something I'd almost forgotten about. I made Lisa some 'wedding flip flops'...which she was soooo glad to change into after enduring her wedding shoes for just too long!



They had white lace, 'pearls' and little pink roses on them.

This is the second set of unity candles I've made. The year before (I think it was) my hubby's niece got married on Valentine's Day. I used red flowers & ribbons instead.

Hopefully I can find all the pics I've been mentioning here tomorrow. Gotta get some sleep...

Glad y'all have liked my 'work'...work! LOL! Its really more 'fun' than 'work'!
