Hi Jenny!!! Thank you, I am truly honored to be the spotlight!

How long have you lived in Philly?
I have lived here about 7 yrs now....I live in the Phila zip code, but on the very outskirts....I don't live in center city. Where I live there are single family homes with yards & stuff, similar to suburbia.

What do you like the most about it?
Everything is SO close, I am a 10-20 minute drive into center city, 45 minutes from Atlantic City, 1 hr 45 minutes from NYC, we have an IKEA , and King of Prussia mall, they have all the top designer stores and is only 20 minutes away!

What do you like the least?
traffic. My 10 minute commute to the city, in rush hour can take a minimum of 30 minutes, and God forbid there's an accident or a trash truck! It can take an hour!

What should I do on a visit there?
Visit the art museum! They always have fabulous exhibits, and you can run the same steps that Rocky did! The Franklin Institute is also awesome, with dinosaur bones & all. Oh, and you can't forget the Liberty Bell! It's in an awesome new bldg, but I have to warn you security is tough. The new Constitution center is FAB, and the Betsey Ross house is a must....they have Betsy herself there, and you wouldn't know it wasn't the real Betsy! And you can't forget the nightlife, tons of HOT clubs, restaraunts, bars, & shopping!

How long have you had Lucky Girl and Louie?
We cat napped LuckyGirl from FL on April 13th 2006, and I snuck Louie home on Sept 5th 2006.

How did you get them?
LuckyGirl was a semi-feral 6-7 mos kitten at our resort on our vac, she was all skin & bones, and eating moths....she has no tail, and she took to my DH (smart girl!) and entranced him with her eyes.... Louie was a kitten from a neighbors unspayed cat getting out & pregnant...she found homes for all of the kittens but him, and he was not the one I really wanted, he was bigger than all the rest. But I believe fate stepped in and blessed me with my little angel/devil it depends which day of the week it is!

How old are they?
LuckyGirl's est b-day is Sept, so she is 16 months, and Louie is 6 months.

How long have you been married?
4 1/2 years

Did you go on a honeymoon, and if so, where did you go?
sorta, my BIL & SIL got married 3 months after our wedding, in Jamaica....so we went with them as Maid of Honor and Best Man, and used that as our honeymoon, we couldn't afford 2 trips so close together after my Cinderella wedding!

Do you have any kids?
1 step daughter, Jasmine (9yo)

Do you want any kids, or (if you have any) do you want any more?
We have been trying unsucessfully for over 2 yrs.... we want a minimum of 1 of our own...probably 2.

What do you do at your job?
hang out in The Cat Lounge!!! No really I'm an executive asst, travel coordinator, event coordinator, the purchasing dept, and everything else in between!

Do you like it?
I do, I have mastered getting my work done quick & accurate so I have my regular addition time on TCS....I am a pro at "looking busy"....

How long have you worked there?
a little over 3 yrs...

How did you find TCS?
LuckyGirl had Bartonella (cat scratch disease) when we found her, and so I was researching that, I had never belonged to a forum before I didn't even really know how to use the site....but thanks to all the mentors & helpers, I felt TOTALLY welcomed!

Do you know or have you met any members?
not yet.....but we are trying! BTW, are you considering coming?! We have to nail down a date that's good for everyone!

What do you do for fun?
Fun?! What's that?! No honestly, fun for me is getting to play with the kitties... I run home to be with them, they need their QT with momma. And I need my time with them. I like to read, but don't get to as much as I'd like. I also knit....DH will laugh at me, he says I'm like an old lady I sit with a blanket on my lap, a cat at my feet, one in the basket of yarn and knit away!

about 4 weeks ago, I went back to brunette, my SIL did it, she's a stylist...

Where did you grow up?
I was an army brat, I grew up all over Long Island NY, and in different parts of PA.

Why did you name Louie, Louie?
I knew DH would have a hard time giving him up if he already had a name that was very special to my DH....his dear friend & mentor Louie Delmonte had passed away about 1 1/2 yrs ago from lung cancer (at 42 & never smoked once), and all the guys they are friends with have "mobster" names, Louie's was Louie D-Boy, and his brothers are all the D-Boys....my DH is Tom-Money....

How did you meet your hubby?
he cat called me on a construction site....true story.

If you were a vegetable, which one would you be?
a string bean...cause for once in my life I'd like to know what it feels like to be long & lean!

How long have you and Tom been together?
7 1/2 years...sometimes it seems like forever, and sometimes it seems like I barely know him at all!

How long were you together before you were married?
We were together 1 yr, and then he proposed on NYE, then we were engaged for 2, so 3 total....and we needed that time to save up for my extravaganza of a wedding!

How many tattoos do you have?
2, 1 chinese symbol meaning Precious Jewel, and a diamond with a design around it, and the words "Diamond Girl", yes the song from the 80's.

Where is your favorite place to go on vacation?
anywhere with sunshine, an ocean/pool, and a bar is purrrrfect for me!

If you could get another kitty, would you? If so, what kind would ou get?
If I didn't have a tiny duplex, and had a huge house I would get more....maybe 2 more, I'd love a cat like the one from Meet the Fockers....especially trained to use the potty, that would be a hoot! I'd love to have a bengal too....

How many hours a day do you spend on TCS? (Be honest! )
4-6 easy....and some days when I do real work for awhile, then I take the whole next day for TCS time....cause I earned it!

If you had 1.5 million dollars, what would you do with it?
pay off my bills, buy my dream home, invest, pay off my parents & sisters houses, take an awesome trip to all the places I'll never get to see on my income, and set up $ for my kid/s/kitties....

I always wanted to be a vet when I was a child, till I realized they had to PTS and give needles....that is not for me. But I'd love to be an animal trainer at a zoo. I love panda bears & polar bears, and cats of course!

If I had to pick just one I'd say Madonna. But I am really into Nora Jones, and I like Mariah Carey's vocals too.

~ Who is your favorite band?
Fleetwood Mac, Nickelback....hey that rhymed?!

~ What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Phish food by ben & jerry's....it's chocolate with marshmellow & caramel swirls, and dark chocolate candy fishes in it!

~ How many siblings do you have?
4 total, 2 natural, and 2 steps that I was raised with.

~ What is your birth order?
of my natural sisters I am the oldest, but my step bro & sis are both older than me.

~ How many nieces & nephews do you have?
six but soon to be 8....one is due Feb 9th, the other is due in April.

~ Do you like shopping for antiques?
I am not into antiques at all.....unless it's antique jewelry.

I used to collect carosel horses, but then life got in the way...I guess my biggest collection is shoes & sunglasses....I have well over 300 pairs of shoes, and at least 60 pairs of sunglasses! I am the accessories queen!

~ How many cats have you had since your very 1st one? What's the most you've ever had at one time?
well, growing up, we cared for an orphaned litter of kittens and they were outside cats, so at one point there were 50 cats/kittens total at one time....so I'd guess I'd say the most I've ever had was 60...I know right?

~ Cameras....do you prefer to be the picture taker or the subject?
I could care less, but mostly I am the taker cause DH can't be bothered with technology....

~ What kind of car do you drive?
a mitsubishi eclipse spyder.....a little black convertible!

rent, but hope to own someday.....

I went to community college

exec asst/travel coordinator/event planner/purchasing....all at my day job!

~ Have you ever been camping?
I have, but I am not the camping type. Once I dated this way hot out doorsy type guy, he talked me into going camping overnight, and wanted me to sleep on the dirt in a sleeping bag! I about died! That was where I drew the line, I slept in the back of a pick up truck, and I awoke to a black bear....and I started to scream....and they just grabbed me and covered my mouth! Roughing it for me is a night at the Ramada Inn with no room service!

Whats one thing no one would guess about you? (Like, dislike, odd talent... etc) I had gynelogical cancer when I was about 18-19 yrs old, it was (and still is) very traumatic....I'm all healed up, but still have to take something to go to the dr's!

we love it there. We have been all over the island and have gone every year...it's so cheap, it costs the same as a week at the Jersey shore. We stayed in Montego Bay, Negril, and Ocho Rios, at all different resorts (including Hedonism )....it's a blast. The people are so friendly, and laid back there....and you get great service, they are very hard working people, and I admire that. We even rent motorcycles and drive all over the island...
