I was just wondering if anyone has paid w/ credit card over the phone for delivery? The reason I ask that, is because I did last night & when the delivery guy got to the house, he asked for my c.c. because they needed an imprint of it. They put it under the carbon copy and used a quarter over it. I didn't think of it right away, but then I told hubby & he thought that was suspicious, so I called Pizza Hut & I was told they do this to everyone to verify that the card is not stolen. I am still going to keep an eye on my c.c. transactions for the next few days to make sure.

I have paid with a CC for a little Chinese place for delivery, but they just enter the CC# in the little printout machine and I just have to sign like I would in the restaurant. Actually, thinking about it they have never even checked my CC, so they would never know if it was stolen as long as the transaction cleared.

Maybe what you could do is call a different Pizza Hut store and see if they do that, too. I agree, though, keep an eye on your transactions.

I've had that same thing done by the Dominos delivery guy. Ever since I got my Pampered Chef oven stone, I haven't ordered a single pizza. I make my own!

I called another Pizza Hut, and all of them do that, because of credit card & check fraud. I guess if the card does not match up to the name/#/signature on the card, the girl said they turn those people in. Good suggestion, Valanb! Thanks!

The Pampered Chef round stone is the absolute BEST for making pizza! I have one and I use it all the time. All of their baking stones are great...I use them for everything! I love all Papmered Chef stuff...I am a kitchen gadget freak!
