Thank you all very much. I may well be asking some questions as I find my way around the forums, and of course uploading more pics!!

Welcome Copper and Kathryn

to TheCatSite and THANK YOU for adopting and rescuing Copper!
I know you feel like thanking HER, don't you?
We are all rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered felines here, including tortie beauty Tarifa, who's our resident clown and skywalker (she loves to walk on the recessed-lighting soffit in our vaulted ceiling in the living room -- quite an acroCAT!)
We are so glad to hear that all of Copper's babies are in good, loving homes as well; and we are so glad you adopted an ADULT cat.
Aren't they wonderful?

Yes, I am so glad I bought Copper. All my cats have been rescue cats, and all very good natured. It's incredible how they can go through so much, and yet be so gentle and loving.

Dear Copper and Meowmy:

Agree 100% and thank you again, so very much, for rescuing and adopting those who are so deserving and needful of it.
All of "my" cats have been rescues as well, from the very start.
They are every bit as wonderful as "purebred" cats, and every bit as gorgeous as well.
Every cat is a masterpiece, don't you agree?

I agree, a lot of people spend hundreds of pounds on pure-bred cats, when you can get an equally gorgoeus and loving cat who was rescued.
