Do you have the exact term your doctor used? Because I looked up the bilious fever listed in your post and when I put that into a search engine bilious yellow fever came back.

Bilious fever is an archaic term used to describe a number of conditions

Bilious fever - Typhoid, malaria, hepatitis or elevated temperature and bile emesis

I hope she's not thinking Typhoid Fever, which is serioiusly contagious!

I hope you feel better soon.

How old is this doctor of yours, Fran? "Gallenfieber" is a totally antiquated expression used for a whole array of infections causing fever. In other words, it's not a specific diagnosis. What kind of tests has she run? Are you jaundiced? Do you have pneumonia? You haven't been traveling in an area known for malaria, have you?
I hope you feel better soon. And guess what - I'm in the same boat, meaning I'm "quarantined" this week, too. I probably have mumps, but it could be mono (I know, I'm way too old for both).

Yuck!

But at least that rhymes with Luck!

I hope you start to feel better soon. Take good care of yourself - pretend you are one of your own kitties.

Well, KittenKiya's Clan is sending you all the best wishes and all the "get wells" in the world.

Now drink your fluids.....No not beer or vodka....make sure you get some chicken soup and crackers into you, and snuggle down with your babies to help keep you warm, and rest.

We will be here anytime you call.

Fran, did the doctor say anything about a "Nasennebenhöhlenentzündung" or "Nebenhöhlenentzündung"? That would be a sinus infection.

Nope she didnt!

I called the receptionist yesterday morning and i had lost my voice, i walked in there and since my face is white and my lips are dark red, i was coughing, i told her i had sinuses and sore ears, and had lost my voice she told me she will give me antibiotics and not go near people for the rest of the week!

Fran Hon, I really think you should seek a 2nd Opinion...your dr. is not giving you enough information to my mind.

Here's a hug from me and my kids...and hoping you feel better soon!
