Well Tiffy is probley leaving us today and i hate it but there is nothing i can do. My husband wants me to call the shelter we adopted her from and have a talk with them. Now that her URI is clearing up she is showing signs of agression big time, from tring to bite my husband's face to hounding Kirra more (she bared teeth at her last night) and even getting fiesty toward our 3 year old. My husband said there is no way no how he wants a cat around that he cant trust alone with his son. It makes me wonder, perhaps she has issues with children, but than you would think they would know that and not have adopted her to a family with kids( our 3 year old was there when we adopted her). i hate to see her go back because ten to one they will put her down especially with this kind of agression(in all honesty i have only seen ferrals and my one cat who was brain damaged from a fire like this) but when the husband has put the foot down there is not much you can say when he throws the arguement of the child up. I feel so bad for tiffy, but part of me agrees with him, is that bad? I worry for my children that they do the wrong thing and she will hurt them bad, Kirra may swat at me or growl when upset but she has never even so much as growled at the kids, no matter how much poking and proding, but even just now as i typed this, Tiffy walked by the kids(who are just watching tv) and hissed at them. *sighs*

Is it possible the children smell different because of the soap you use to bathe them? Stranger things have happened, but he may also just be plain jealous of them, in which case, unless you have a decent place to keep him well fed, warm and with lots of attention, it might be best to find a new home.

Nope i doubt the soap since we use unscented soap on the kids(my youngest has eczama) she actually bit me this morning, was walking past me and just bit me out of no where *sighs*. So per the contract with the shelter she will have to go back to them weither we get another or not.

Well my husband took her back, the shelter said that its possible because she was sick no one could tell, but she definatly was getting more agressive as she got over the URI.
