Diesel is still high here too!

its down to $2.19 here but i just saw that the price of barrels went up again today so i think i'm going to fill up tomorrow just in case!

Wow you guys are lucky. In MA, atleast where I am, it's still over $2.15. I only fill up every few weeks or so because I don't have a very long commute and with being on disability I haven't driven much at all, so I don't pay attention to prices. Today though I had to fill up and I think I paid $2.27. I haven't seen prices under $2 in almost 2 years.

I miss about 7 years ago when the cheapest around was $.87

I think it's around 70 cents here. I remember and miss the good ol' days when gas was cheap.

In the U.S. 70 cents would be cheap

What area are you in? (Not directly what city, but the area). I'm in the Fitchburg/Leominster area, closer to the NH border. I'll have to look today when I go out and see what other stations are charging. Like I said even when I go back to work I'll still be driving an average of maybe 6 miles a day (I'm shedding a tear..really) and I'll probably only fill up every 2 weeks if that, so I don't really pay attention. My wife on the other hand who commutes over an hour to Lowell and fills up twice a week knows too well what the prices are

I am in Bristol County, between Providence, RI and Fall River.

My husband commutes 1+ hours to Hopkinton, so he is constantly filling up

Wow why are gas prices so much lower everywhere else? It's been $2.49 here for the longest time. It's so unfair how certain places are so high, and then others are so low.

Just paid $2.11 but my car manuel says to put in 87 oct. The lower oct was lower. Can get away with that with the wife's car.

Trowe Price New Era is my largest stock holding.

I'm long term bullish on natural resorces.

Might as well make some money off of my own pain at the pump.

It's $.99 (CDN) a litre here if you really look... that's $3.17 (USD) a gallon. Woo hoo! It got up to almost $5 (USD) a gallon last year.

Some places still have it for $1.03 (CDN) a litre.

Probably so the oil companies don't get hit with winfall profits that congress will be tempted to try and snag.

I know kind of cynical of me to think this.

The prices went up a tad faster then perhpas they should have. So it may just be a correction.

For the period ending Sept 30 2006 new era was up an anualized 28.26%

1 year period only 7.3% so perhaps I should have moved some out earlier.

I'm still long term bullish on natural resorces.

Looks like Trow Price is also bulish in that 97.1 percent of the fund was invested.
