Collecting things......what about you?

Like a lot of you I collect cat themed knick knacks. It's funny; when I first got cats, I told myself I wouldn't collect that stuff. So much for that!


I also collect Eeyore stuff. I just love they guy; he's so cute!

The only problem with collecting all this stuff... I don't have any place to put it!

Essential oils, candles (well i cant burn them anymore, my dad likes to control me, though ive never burnt anything down), books, i LOVE books, but i cant get too many atm as my bedroom is smaller than the previous house and i have a second wardrobe im trying to sell which is smack dab in the middle of my room lol. I also have a nice collection of soft toys from Tristan which come on bdays, anniversaries etc. But i ask him to get me smaller ones so they will fit.


Anyone have storage problems??

I used to collect cat stuff, until I moved out on my own. Then mom died and I moved in with DH, put all my stuff into storage and it's been there since.. 9 years now... I really would love to get a house to have room to get it all back out again! I miss it!!! I have two pieces I really love. One, my mom gave me when she told me we wouldn't have to move again and when I went into my room to see it she had a little ceramic calaco in the window sill waiting for me. The other was given to me by my moms boyfriends parents and it a crystal cat with it's paw in a fish tank.. Very cute.!!!

I used to collect Eeyore things but lately have given it up for lack of room, I also used to collect unicorns but have been thinning that out as well. Now as for cats, I have WAY to many (not the real kind either) knick knacks and things like that. EVERYONE gives me cat themed things. I never really meant to collect cats, it just happened. I guess I'm an addict.

I forgot to mention, I inherited a great-step-aunt's cat book collection and several figurines, so that expanded my collection of things too.

I don't collect cat related items, but I have started collecting Willow Tree Angels. I have one that has a cat tho!

I recently got the Nativity Scence for Christmas, I love it!

I collect Teddy Bears, porcelin dolls and quilts..........of course I make the quilts.

I collect sheep and frogs- when my nieces and nephews were little, they would come over and count the frogs in my kitchen and dining room!

I just found these at a resale shop a few weeks ago...I thought they were soooo cute!!! I just had to have them! (I've rotated the pic around so y'all can see the sweeties on there) Hmmm, I've just previewed this and its hard to tell what they are...they're house slippers! Awwwww

I don't really have any cat collectables. I do have a few knick-nacks but that's it. I tend to collect alot of horse collectables though

I collect turn of the century carousel horse reproductions, Notre Dame Cathedral gargoyle repros (both of these have branched into music boxes).
I have a small collection of cats, my most prized being a hand painted Fenton Art Glass cat in cobalt blue so dark, it apears black.
And I have a small collection of unicorns.

OMG! We're twins! I had a pair of those same exact slippers a while back!!! We sold them in the reatil area of the old cat rescue i used to work at!!!
