Is there something I can give Puff for gas/constipation? I'm sitting here rubbing his tummy and he let one go.... ew.. If only I had a gas mask!

I think this is why he's not feeling that well. He's a little better but he still is constipated.

Sounds like the rubbing is doing the trick! Also, I've been told to feed canned to help them keep moving. and for gas, a teaspoon a day of unflavored, high quality yogurt with pro-biotics (I use Brown Cow creamtop from the healthfood store, or Mountain High plain if I buy from Vons, for both pets and myself). And maybe keep those tummy rubs coming - just put a little Vicks VapoRub under your nose for protection

lol. yeah I've been rubbing his belly all day long. He keeps getting in my lap and showing his belly to me. So I guess it feels good to him. I wouldn't have thought of yogurt. I'll have to make a trip to the store today then. vicks is a good idea too....lol

What food type does Puff get? That might have something to do with that. As for the showing of the belly it might just be he trusts you completely and totally. Dogs do that gesture to show they rerspect and honor the leader- you, don't really know about cats doing it though.http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/ima...s/confused.gif. Grains and by products can make cats gasy which is why I asked what type of food he gets.

He gets Wellness. 50/50 of wet/dry. He was just sick at that time.
After a couple days it cleared up.
