Geaux Saints!!!!!!!

I'm not normally a football fan, but today's a big day for us. This is the 1st time in 40 years that the Saints have made it this far! Today is like a National holiday down here in LA... if (I mean *when*) the Saints make it to the superbowl it will be bigger than Mardi Gras!



I also want to share a beautiful poem written by Kenner resident--and Saints fan--Don LeCocq.

"Our Saints, Our City, Our Soul"
Out of the fire
And up from the flood
A great team is born
Made of guts, steel and blood

Their history a low one
No one can deny
Their new rise a slow one
But oh now so high

This team that I speak of
Is of black and gold
And travels the gridiron
So brave and so bold

Their symbol is royalty
We call Fleur de lis
And proud New Orleanians

We are having a big ta doo at a friends house to watch the game, I got me a Saints sweatshirt ready to wear.

I could bring my lucky LSU outfit to wear in case I need it for the Saints game.

And I am fixin to put a "gris gris" on the Bears too.

So will the lucky LSU outfit actually help the Saints??? I think we need a picture of you in to be sure....

I don't know if it would help the Saints or not since it is my lucky LSU outfit.

A ta doo is like a big party and if the Saints win today, we are gonna have a "blowout" in Columbia, Mississippi in two weeks.

Sorry, born and raised in Chicago. I want to see a Superbowl XX repeat.
