Uhhhhh i'm so annoyed with myself. I just cut my finger a minute ago. Not enough to "kill" my finger or anything like that- but enough to bleed through two bandaids (once i put some pressure on it- it stopped- it doesn't need stitches). I swear! I NEVER cut myself! But tonight i just had to make an exception huh
I have been a florist for 4+ years now - I use a knife almost every single day and i have NEVER cut myself. I am always very careful and hold it right. Well tonight i was cutting up a pineapple (I'm a huge pineapple freak!!! I eat tons of it all the time
) and I use this huge long knife to cut it with. (that goodness it wasn't searated
Well...i was talking on the phone with my sister...and i dunno how it happened- but the knife slipped and cut my pointer finger on my left hand. I washed it with antibacterial soap, put neosporin , and bandaids on it- and put a lot of pressure on it so i think it's stopped bleeding now- but wow- that really hurt!
anyone else had an accident today?

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

I did something like that a few months ago. I had a slider slicer and wasn't using the safe guard. Off went part of my thumb.

Even to this day its still a little sensitive.

It was a veggie slicer. I still like the thing, just I'm more conscious about using the guard now!

I'm glad you're o.k. now though and it wasn't bad enough to get stitches.

aww, I am glad you're okay and didn't need stitches!
the last time I did have an accident is we had a salad for dinner and I went to go get more ranch and tripped over my hound, Buster.
he is huge and I fell on my knee on the hard wood floor.
It still hurts it was like 5 days ago but I am fine and didn't break anything but it's still kinda sore..
then the other day I am the main dog walker at the shelter where I volunteer and I was playing outside with Chaffin, a shepherd mix and it's like an ice rink out there and I ran to fast and fell on my butt.
good thing it didn't hurt. it was kinda funny, though.
but I don't think it was funny tripping over my own dog on to the hardwood floor.

She sounds like my Sister Mollie. My sister Dawn would have been screaming into the phone to see if I was o.k. And Mom, she would have been in her car on the way here.
