Are there such things as "chewies" for cats? Like rawhides or bully sticks for dogs?

Fat Harriet has old-lady teef that could use some work and I'd like for her to chew a bit. I tried feline greenies but the cow just swallows them whole.

We also have some active kitties at the shelter that like to chew their cardboard litter boxes and I thought that maybe a "Chewie" would help while away the hours.

Not that I am aware of..the only dental treat I know of, sounds like she'd also swallow whole (Purrlicious tartar control treats by petguard).

However, Petstages has catnip teething and chew toys made with catnip and catnip stalks and a fabric they say won't run when pierced by teeth. I believe they have a website, so you could find the specific names of the two toys I am thinking of (one is for kittens).

Thank you...I forgot about those! Only one of my cats liked these, but it does have a papery wrapper to chew through and then the softer inside. Maybe this senior catizen would like them
