I hate jeans shopping only slightly less than going to the dentist. My best friend and I are getting in the car, going to lunch and then we start on a five hour adventure to look for a cute pair of jeans that fit me. I have no idea why this task is impossible, but for the last three months I've attempted to by one pair of jeans and have failed at every single turn. If I don't find anything today I'm going to wear PJ pants for the rest of my life.

I love the title of this thread.

Every woman understands the trauma of jeans shopping.

I know... it's the biggest pain in the butt out there. Men have it easy! They just have a stupid sizing chart. Women... it's a whole other ball park.

DH asked if it was okay if he came along. I suggested that he sit at home and play WoW all day. It's best not to step into this with out another male with him.

He just doesn't understand the process. I think it's because he's curious, but I've advised him that it's not the best corse of action to take.

I like blue jeans if I can find them to fit me, I found some about a year ago so I bought 4 pairs of them.

At this point I don't care how much they cost. I used to go out with a budget in mind, but I threw that idea out the window a few days ago when I tried on yet another pair of "affordable" jeans that's crotch landed around my knees. I'm done. If I have to spend $200.00 today I'm going to do it.

Do you have American Eagle there? I found that their jeans fit me pretty good, and they are only like $50!!

ONLY $50?!
I could buy a pair of Silvers for that much and they'd last longer!
I go to Vanity- their jeans are between $25-$35 and fit like a DREAM!

Really? I may go there today. The last time I checked they had one cut that fit me. Knowing my luck they've discontinued it.

The only type of jeans that I like are stretch jeans. I've never ever liked the way regular blue jeans feel on my body: I find them so restrictive for movement and binding, even when I was skinny at 118 pounds.
