I have been terribly ill this week, none of the doctors I went to prescribed me anything, and i feel like im getting worse each day, last night i completely lost my voice, and my ears hurt so much!

Monday i have to go back to work, if I dont feel better im going to go back to my doctor and complain!

I know that if my mother was here, she would have pumped me up with love and lots of medication!

Don´t you just miss your mother sometimes?

Aww if you were in the UK I'd adopt you
You are only a year or so older then our eldest Granddaughter, and when you are not well you need a bit of TLC.

Over the river and through the woods...
Hoping you feel better soon. Remember that if it is a virus there really isn't anything the doctors can give you, you just have to let it run its course. Lots of rest, chicken soup and comfort foods (I prefer grilled cheese!). So far, I've gotten the same virus 3 times since Thanksgiving. My husband and I keep giving it to each other. Its not fun being sick. I miss my mommy too!

ok. I'll 'fess up. One of the big reasons I chose to come to school here rather than to UM or U of I was because I'd be closer to my parents! I'm a big baby! (but I get to see my mommy tomorrow!)

I do sometimes, but my mom is a very bitter, guilt trippy, petty person so sometimes its hard to miss her. Of course I do and of course I love her, but sometimes she is not a fun person to be around

Well, you probably can find someone who'll listen to you and be your friend like your mom should be doing.

Things like this remind me that sometimes it's an advantage to have a toxic mother, because I sure don't miss her, ever.

I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you could talk to your mom on the phone?

Cheers, from

Thats not possible as my parents are deaf.

Well my mother sure isnt mother of the year, but atleast when she is sober she is a wonderful woman! And those are sure the memories i want to keep of her!
