I'm glad it worked for Jack! Do try the Snoflake on your other babies...I promise you his breeder does know what she's talking about...Nancy's got another cat racing up the Nationals for 06-07!

So, bathing a Bengal is not such a silly idea after all hmmm???

Actually I still think it's silly.

But, in Jack's case there was enough benefit derived for me to try it again. I need to have all the irons in the fire for this show next weekend.

Sorry, I missed your response! I tried some John Frieda stuff with poor results.

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to try it and some others that people have suggested.

I'll post results as they come about.

Trying different people shampoo on your cats to look for the most lustrous shine and prettiest smell. Now I've heard everything

I want photos of Jack while being bathed!! Now they'd be a good giggle

oh - i didn't think it was people shampoo. i thought it was specialty pet shampoo; which is almost weirder

Actually I used Nexxus Simply Silver on all my white or mostly white cornish rexes - its surprising what it does - I don't see why you think its weird

The only way Jack wouldn't win IMO is if all the judges are blind and have no feeling in their fingers.

So why would Charlie not final? I want your wisdom
Oh well my wisdom says that Charlie is bound to final (in a different class from Jack of course since cat-fights will not be tolerated or looked kindly upon here) because he just has that "je ne sais quoi" that only an imbecile for a judge would overlook. He's a magnificent speciman of the Bengal feline species which anyone with half-sight could immediately spot.

There you have it - my pearls of wisdom for today.

Gosh - would you look at that - I made a typo! That sure doesn't happen very often! My bad.
It's pretty obvious I was thinking about Jack and had "Bengal" on the brain or I wouldn't have made such a blunder. Harumph, harumph!

I'll forgive you THIS time Yosemite - but don't let it happen again. Just keep in mind that ocicats have spots - bengals have rosettes or swirls

So do you need to change your "pearls of wisdom" for Charlie's first kitten show?

Hey at least I know you have blue point siamese

HA! WRONG! Bijou is a Lilac Point and Mika is a Blue-Cream Point. Gotcha!

Now, seriously, I know you can't change a "cat's spots", so I'll just say my Pearls of Wisdom for Charlie - He'll be the most, and I DO mean MOST beautiful Ocicat at the show and if those judges can't see that, then you must give them each a certificate for an eye examination with their local Opthalmologist.

I was going by your picture below - the one is definently blue point - the others are a bit harder to tell - was not sure of the shadings
Give me better photos and I could tell instantly :p

Thanks for the comments - we'll see what happens this weekend
