I had a little piece of American cheese left over from my lunch, so...

...I called out, "Ferris! Come here little guy!"

And then I hear a galloping jingle, and the next thing I know he was at my feet, looking up at me with an inquisitive, "meow?"

So I gave him the and he chowed it down, and this all made me so very happy!!!

As little as a month ago, there is no way he would have come to my call, let alone galloped in to see me!

I just love these little tiny milestones! ::: looks around::: Don't tell my daughter, but I think I enjoy being a meowmy more than I did being a mommy. Is that terrible of me?

The great thing is - he didn't know he was going to get cheese - that was a surprise bonus for him! Which means he came because I called, and of course, because he FELT like it. I'm not delusional, or anything.

Ferris wants to know if you'd be interested in heading up his fan club. I'm thinking of having a mug made with that shot of him falling asleep with his mouth open. I think that picture is good enough for cuteness contests, LOL!

Betsy, you KNOW I would head up his fan club..I would be jealous if there were any other members of his fan club HE'S MINE!

It is such a wonderful feeling when you make such progress. We have had some pretty good progress with Pearl lately, and it has felt GREAT!
