Thanks GUYS - Buddy is stable and doing ok for a 9 year old senior. The doctors are giving him a 60% chance of recovery. He is in the best hands possible SO, for now they are taking it day by day.

The stars were just lined up - this was the only morning she did not have to be out of the house early - he was at the vets within 1/2 hr..

Bless his heart! I will be praying for him tonight! I hope all goes well with the surgery and he has a smooth recovery! Keep us posted!

Buddy is still holding his own but not eating on his own - being fed interveiniously (sp?) - she is going back tonight to bring him his own food - hopefully with that and with lots of encouragement from mom he'll start to eat!
