Ok for my lunch today I cooked cinamon rolls, the big ones that only have 5 in a pack, well it says to cook them on 375 so I checked the stove like 4 times before I put them in to make sure it was on 375 and then it says cook for 18-25 mins, being me I put it on 18 because I was hungry
and it beeps so i let it go one more minute well i go and get them out and they are really really burnt, I come to the conclusion that I am not cooking any more inside the oven
i kept checking it and it was on 375 and man is this driving me nuts i am so mad, i have been holding off on a nap to cook them and well they were ruined
sorry i just needed to vent, i called my mom and told her she needs a new stove
she was laughing so i ripped the cinamon rolls apart and only ate the parts that werent burnt !! Am I the only one this happens to
maybe its this site, I was on here when i was cooking
my dads gonna complain cause i didnt save him one but would he really want me too
would u

Perhaps your oven temperature needs adjustment.

Dumb question, but if they have frosting, you didn't by any chance put the frosting on before putting them in the oven.

i've had similar things happen to me before. i cook pretty often. your oven likely cooks quicker than other ones- so next time the instructions tell you to put something in at 375- take it down a few notches and cook it at 350 or 325 instead
your oven probably just cooks quicker than the average one does. also- don't forget to set your timmer. what you can do is turn the oven off about 3 or 4 minutes before your supposed to then let it just sit in the oven those remaining minutes so the temp doesn't burn them as much

You may not need a new stove it could just need to be readjusted. If it is a digital one. Sometimes the temp is off. A repairman can look at it and fix it. I read about it on Martha stewarts site. Stoves can say one temp and vary by 5 to 25 degrees. I have learned my stove is hotter on the right side than the left side. It makes for someinteresting coking. I have to rotate the pans halfway through.
A repaire man can be cheeper than a new stove.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
ovens cook fast, 30 seconds to a chocolate chip cookie is alot of cook time, but to a chicken breast 30 seconds won't make or break it....cinnamon rolls are the same. Also, like chocolate chips, I pull them out before they "look" completely done. Your supposed to let them cool on the sheet for a minute out of the oven, which is actually cooking them still inside....
