cat walked in wet cement

hi all,
our cat decided not only to walk into wet cement but also seemingly to sit and lie in it. We havn't been able to brush it out. is it ok to cut it out or should we just wait for it to wear off in time?

I don't think it will just wear off and it will certainly weigh your kitty down. Hair will grow back. I'd go ahead and cut it out.

I would cut out what I could but you'd have to wash off the feet in warm soapy water - call your vet and ask them if there is anything special you should use.

You do NOT want kitty licking and swallowing the cement!

I second that....cut off as much as you can.

just becareful to only cut fur and not kitty's skin
