Nikki, with the vomiting and the severe cramping I wouldn't be surprised if you have an ovarian cyst.
Also, when you go off the pill and start back up, it messes with your system, so that could also cause the cramping.
I have Endometriosis, and ovarian cysts, so I have really bad cramping, heavy bleeding, and get a lot of clotts (sorry, not trying to be gross)
I was put on BC when I was 12 to try and regulate my periods, they are never consistant or normal. If I missed a few days I would instantly start having the cramps and heavy bleeding, ect, and that's was just from missing 1 or 2. As soon as that would happen, I would automatically get cysts, that end up rupturing, it can be VERY painful. Recently, I had to go to the ER, I was having severe pain and vomiting, they immediately dosed me with morphine and sent me for cat scans, thinking it was appendix, it ended up being yet another cyst
I was schedulled for exploritory surgery, to see why I have been having such problems and the reocurring cysts (I do not like DR. and blow it off again
) But, this may be what's going on for you, going off the pill for a few days caused your body to create a cyst. (BC helps to keep them away, so if you stop taking it, mabey it caused one?)
I hope you get it taken care of, I am 28, I have been going through this since 12, it is so painfull at times, I wish I could just have a complete hist. and be done with it! So get it taken care of if that is what's wrong! You could be having a virial thing, but I don't usually have the cramping with a stomache bug, just the cysts, but mabey you have a bug too. Good luck dear! I hope they get you in soon!
I wanted to add, They first was also worried about the ectopic (that's the tubal preg. thing, right?) They took blood to test if I was pregnant, when it came back neg. the said they will generally show up in a test even if it was eptopic, so when it came back neg they weren't concerned about that being the problem. I am sure it may not always show up in a pregnancy test, but usually it will.
