...to fall asleep with a motorboat running next to me.

Last night, Ferris decided to spoon with me as I was falling asleep! I was lying on my right side, and he curled up against the front of my thighs and purred, purred, purred away on top of my blankets.

More and more little tiny breakthroughs with this boy - the emotional rewards are so wonderful!

And there is no way that he and I would have been brought together if it weren't for the folks on TCS teaching me about adopting feral rescues. Thank you TCS!

Aww, Ferris is gorgeous! I've always loved kitties like him. I remember when Naomi & Alex Jr were kids, they had a story book with such a cat in it. They called it an 'orange marmalade cat'...beautiful

Your little Ferris loves me because I am the TREAT LADY!

Seriously, I am on cloud 9 here - remember my whiny post because I was positive he hated me and that he'd never ever want to get close to me?
I am SO glad that he's coming around, and again, there is no way I could have had this happen without everything I learned here!

Just the thing about not looking him directly in the eyes - that was SO instrumental in getting him to relax and come out of his scaredy-shell! And now I CAN look him in the eyes without him thinking that I am going to attack him - blink kisses all around!!!
