saving brushes to photoshop 5.0?

I have no idea what I am doing, I downloading a few new brushes and I saved them on my desktop because I had no idea where to put them, when I put the disk in for my photoshop I never got a folder to go with it, just the photoshop elements 5.0 and I know I can upload the new brushes to the brushes but then they disappear when I click on an old one or whatever and i go to save them and it takes me to the desktop any one no how I can possibly save them, and y dont I have a folder I am so confused !!!! Any advice and help is greatly appreciated

I have CS so not sure about elements, but in CS you go to

Edit > Preset Manager > (make sure the preset type says brushes) Click Load and it will let you browse for the brushes (just save them in My Docs or whatever) then press Load in the 2nd box and they will appear in your brush list

When asking a Q make sure you put elements in the title as it is different from photoshop 5.0

i keep forgetting to put elements even when i was searching, sorry but I figured out how to save them, I was able to upload them like u said it just wasnt saving them in photoshop thouhg, but I figured out where the folders are and everything it took me sometime but I did, thanx for the advice
