Davidson has thrown up about 2 times this week- its been clear bile both times, and this morning he threw up again, twice, again- clear.

He's eating normal, running around playing normal, not sleeping any more than usual- is there anything to be concerned about?

Is this new for him?
I think that anything out of the ordinary could be of concern.
If you have a good relationship with one of your vet's techs...call & talk to her/him and get some feedback.

Is his fur stared or kind of ungroomed looking?
Is his poo & pee normal?
Have you changed foods.
Clear barf might indicate something is going on.

At the very least I would keep a really close eye on your boy.

Remember...."better safe than sorry."

It is new... I've never noticed him doing this before

His fur looks the same- I just brushed him last night, he's so soft!

Food... well, I have been feeing Maxximum Nutrition and they changed their formula? Could that be it??

Bathroom behaviour is very normal

Maybe its the formula change? He's eating it okay.
Harley has been eating it too- and he hasn't gotten sick yet

My guess about the food formula change would be that if it is not agreeing with him, he would have loose stools or vomit the food.
But I could be wrong....
I am just guessing about this.

Has he been shedding a lot?
Sadie & Dexter gag occasionally when they get in their throats.

But you groomed him last night.

Hopefully others will have some better ideas for you.
One other thing...do his ears feel warmer that unusual.
My vet says that hot ears are not a good barometer of fever but it has always been a good early warning sign for me.

No advice but that it might be the food. Sometimes they get so used to something any little change messes with them.

for you and the little dude.

Well, Harley's ears are cold, and Davidson's are a tiny tiny bit warmer
but nothing more than usual

I think that if you watch him really closely for further change for the next few days you might be safe not taking him in to be checked.

Supposedly the main change was to human grade fresh meat instead of frozen.

Maybe you could talk to your vet and try giving him a bland diet for a few days if you think it's the food and see if it still happens? Good luck with you kitty.

What a bland kind of food? I have a limited place to get food at, unfortunately

I just fed them their wet food and they are both eating okay.

Davidson's ears feel warmer than earlier tho, but he hasnt thrown up since around 10AM.

Do you have a regular vet that you can take him to quickly if you become really concerned?
He may be fine but I would have a plan...just in case.

In fact, we should all have an emergency illness plan for our kitties.

Healthy vibes are on the way to sweet Davidson.

I do have a regular vet to go to- he's actually only about 5 blocks away

I think I'm going to call them in a bit here and see what they have to say..

Thanks to everyone for the vibes!

I am always pestering the vet techs at the vet's office for stupid little things. They're OK with it, too. Let us know what you find out!
