On your back? With your legs straight out & spread apart? Or your knees bent? Do you favour your right side? Or your left? Maybe you prefer being face-down? Face-down with something supporting your tummy maybe?

I'll tell you my own preference...on my right side...with something so comfortable between my legs!!!

Ok, so what about y'all???

What's your favourite sleeping position???

Gotcha!!! hehehe...

I was just thinking this could be taken to the gutter quickly!!
But I sleep on my side. Either side is fine. And I have to have a pillow between my knees or my hips hurt.

Welcome to the gutter, Hilda!

Me? On my side, legs stretched or curled depending on how my back is feeling.

A few raised eyebrows will be caused by the thread title no doubt

My preferred sleeping position is on my right hand side but I can't sleep that way because it makes my heartburn and acid reflux worse so I sleep mostly on my left hand side, with a pillow under my knees and 2 under my head. I have (fortunately mild) arthritis and have to be careful not to have too much under my head or I wake up with neck and upper back pain, and the one under my knees is to help with knee and hip pain.

That makes me sound ancient, I'm only 35
I am a young wreck

Mostly my side. Left to start drifting and right to sleep. When I have a hard time sleeping I am on my back but my hips & head are to the left.

I did notice when I clicked to submit the thread, it took more than a few seconds to post it...so I knew the MODs were doing their jobs! Sure am glad they read the whole thing through!

Great job y'all!!!
and thanks for not squishing my thread!

I too sometimes sleep with pillows propped under my knees...sure does relieve a sore back. Sometimes I have to have a heating pad under my back too...needless to say, the kitties love it when I do that!

I lay on either side with one leg straight, and the other bent up..my legs make the shape of a 4 when I sleep. I switch sides about 7 times a night

Yep, I noticed right away that of all the threads I've started (not that there are that many you understand)...this one got the quickest response as well as the most thusfar.

Oh yes, and thanks to 'gemlady' for the welcome to the gutter

I used to always sleep on my stomach, though my doctor kept telling me that was a big part of my back problems. We got a water bed this past fall, and I was told that under no circumstances should I sleep on my tummy. So I got myself a long "side-sleeper" or "body" pillow, and am comfortably sleeping on my side now. I can definitely recommend the pillows.
