It was an accident, I swear!

Poor Ginger kitty - minding her own business, walking around on my bed right before my alarm was due to go off. She was so quiet I didn't know she was there, but Ferris was in the room making all kinds of noise playing with God knows what, and as I rolled over in bed to wave my arm to shoo him out of the room, SMACK! I caught Ginger right upside the head!

Poor thing - I kept my hand on her and started petting her immediately while apologizing, and she didn't run away - I think she knew it was an accident and forgave me immediately, but I felt so bad!!!

Silly kitties. You really must stop waking Meowmy up 10 minutes before her alarm clock goes off
those are VERY important deep sleep minutes to her!!!

I've accidentally hit Reeses with my crutch a few times. Mainly when she's walking behind me and I don't see her "whack!"
Other times I'll be getting her food or a treat and I'll lean it up against the counter and she'll walk by and hit it and it almost lands on her. Poor kitty.

I've accidently booted rambo when he does the foot weave, I've almost rolled over and smushed Lucky....we are lucky that they are so forgiving of their clumpsy meowmy's!

in a pile of open toed shoes!
awwww poor Ginger....I have done similar things, most recently I stepped on LuckyGirl's foot. She immediately took off for under the bed...and I felt horrible... Of course she was right between my legs as I was getting a pitcher of juice from the fridge....I didn't see her at all!

On a seperate note, how is your acupuncture going Betsy?

It's all done, and I'm 100% recovered, thank you so much for asking!

i fell down backwards (tripping over a shoe) and sat on Phantom. She also gets regualar smacks and kicks when its feeding time. She just gets so excited and runs in front of where my feet are going to hands are going.

I think we have all done that before. I trip over my own feet so I really have to watch them.
But I am about as clumsy as they come. I feel the worst for Macy she sleeps by my feet and I know I kick in my sleep so I am not sure how many kicks she has gotten on accident.
But they always forgive us. Too bad people aren't as forgiving as animals.

Unfortunately I've kicked Harley off the foot of the bed more times than I can count

Feeding time is the worst! I always kick someone across the room. It doesn't help I walk fast w/out looking. Poor guys! Will the ever learn not to follow mommy's feet.

With Snickers I don't need to actually "kick" her off the bed. She's such a scardy cat freak that all I have to do is move my foot a tiny bit and she does one of those straight up in the air jumps.
I feel so bad, but I don't do it on purpose (and it is kinda funny.
)
and you should see her when Chance is burrowing under the covers!

I have to watch the movement of my feet under the covers. Or Tavia will attack them.

I think that everybody here has smacked their cat(s)! I just kicked Dorian on my way into the office. He was chasing a shoe lace. He jumped out around the corner & I never even saw him.

I have thrown Polly off the bed in the middle of the night, knelt down on her tail when giving her her pill and smashed her paw in her food container. It makes me feel so bad; she lets out this awful meow! Polly is closer at hand so she gets more picking-on than Prego.
