My two ribbons are
burgendy which means Cesarean Sections - Headaches - Hospice Care - Multiple Myeloma ~ and I got this one because I get really bad headaches and for the last weeks of my paps life he was on hospice

dark blue which means Arthritis - Child Abuse - Colon Cancer - Colorectal Cancer - Dystonia - Education - Free Speech - Interstitial Cystitis - ME/CFIDS - Reye's Syndrome - Save the Music - Teens Against Smoking - Victim's Rights - Water Quality ~ and I got this one for colon cancer because my dad was diagnosed with it about 5 or so years ago and had 2 mahjor surgerys to get rid of it, and also my pap died from colon cancer. And also for child abuse because no child should be abused in any way !!!!!

of the things that the ribbons represent:
Yellow is for our troops, cause like Brandi said, even if we don't support the actual war, we have to support our troops!
Black- for melanoma, of which my Grandma died of almost 17 years ago
Blue- Pro Choice
Orange- Cultural diversity, and even though I'm sure its not Feline leukemia, leukemia was one of the choices

I have yellow for our troops, and red and yellow for hepatitis C, which one of my (favorite, but I'm not supposed to admit it) students, an extremely brave and very young man, is suffering from.

my grandma is suffering from Alzheimer's too. But oddly, it has made her nice, instead of the mean hateful person that raised my father, and now, finally at age 57 my dad is able to have some semblance of a relationship with his mother.....

sometimes she does, and sometimes she pretends she does, but you can tell that she's not really sure. She always hated my dad, his whole life, and somehow, miraculously this horrible disease has made her a decent, happier person to be around....and my dad has managed to forgive her for all of the abuse he's suffered by her....and my dad can be around her for holidays and visits....
