We've been getting temperatures from 30-39c (86-102.2f) lately. Severe droughts in some place, our water restriction has jumped up a level and there are lots of fires. We got a bit of rain yesterday. This is one of the worst years i think we've had (at least since i've been alive). I heard we're going to get thunderstorms and while i welcome the rain, the lighting and wind will be a right **** =( If i ever fine any of the people who deliberately lits fires, i will personally string them up by the bollocks. *grumble*

It's raining and it's windy
I took some rubbish out to the dustbin this morning and when I opened the door of the bin room the wind just took it right out of my hand and banged it against the wall. If my neighbours weren't already awake they would be then!

We have showery weather with incredibly strong winds. I was going out at lunchtime but I have cancelled it as the roads will be really dangerous. I put a waterproof sheet on Maisie before turning her out so that she wouldn't get wet and then cold with the wind. Tartine loves it though - she gallops round the field in the wind with her tail up!

Oh heck
its sounds real bad in UK now

A man, from Bridgnorth, Shropshire has been killed after a tree branch smashed through his car windsreen in gale-force gusts. Winds of between 60mph and 70mph are battering Wales and Northern Ireland and England - with gusts in some areas reaching over 80mph.

Oh heck - stay safe folks

As long as my bus is on time and i get home i'll be fine. The worst part of my journey though is when it's on the motorway and theres open fields at either side so the bus sways slightly

I think they said 60 mph for my area?.

That's scary. It stopped raining here and the sun has even come out but I think it's still windy. I cant see any trees from my office but every now and then I hear a gust of wind. I think I'll stay off the M62 this weekend. Last weekend I travelled from Manchester to Leeds on it and it's the highest motorway in England. Very exposed and it was scary as gusts of wind would suddenly pull my car to one side.
