OHHH, I'm gonna be revisiting this post.....they are beyond cute, adorable, beautiful, gorgeous, etc.etc.
I have a girlfriend who tolerates only certain cat coats - my daughter's cat, Christy, is fluffy yet causes no reaction, but my other cats launch my friend into the most scary asthma attacks

Aw - they're beautiful - I'm going to guess Blue Lynx. Where did you get them (name of Cattery). You'll love them!

Momma was a gorgeous blue lynx and daddy was a seal point, the kittens are seal lynxes. I got them from Picturepurrfect in Kentucky... she's a relatively new breeder but she's not a BYB. It's the only cattery close to us, and we wanted to pick out our own cats.

Beautiful, beautiful, kitties. Sounds like you'll have your hands full with you house full.

by the way, I've heard you guys talk about ragdolls alot, and now you're calling them lynx--are there different kinds of ragdolls? I know all the ones I've seen here have been gorgeous.

Lynx is the color pattern with tabby markings. "Seal" is the color. I found this website that explains the different patterns and colors Ragdolls come in, if you want to check it out.

*Edit* Just read the thread. I love ragdolls and their names couldn't be cuter!

Of course, I still can't tell the differnece between a "seal" and an "chocolate."

Ah, the seal lynx makes a lot of sense - Chay didn't get his full mask color in until he was around 9 or 10 months or so, so I was wondering why your kittens were more fully colored at such a young age. From a non-expert's point of view, chocolate doesn't tend to color much. Chay is an exception because he's a lynx, so his color spreads more. So most chocolate points have the majority of their color around their noses, while seals have their dark color throughout their entire faces. Even though he's a Birman, your babies will probably still turn out a lot like Chay, so I'll try and find more pictures of him tonight. I love your little fluffballs!
