Actually, I find them very resistable.

I prefer the cheaper sandwich cookies - fudge with fudge filling.

Agh, now I want that package of Oreos downstairs! But I'm out of milk, and I can't go to the grocery store without feeling even more guilty about not going in to work today.
Can you eat Oreos without milk?!

I can resist Oreos, however, I'd kill someone over shortbread or butter cookies!

I don't know why they are so irresistable? because they're chocolate cookies?

Ah well, in desperation I had to do without milk - they're not the best, but they're still pretty good!

since you like oreos so much, Nikki..

definately try this peppermint cheescake. I had it at a resturaunt and it was sooo good!!
It was $5 for 1 piece but it was worth it.
It's really rich, but light.

here's the recipe :

Peppermint Cheesecake
2 C. Oreo cookie crumbs, rolled fine
3 (8-oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 C. sugar
3 eggs
3/4 t. vanilla
1 t. peppermint extract
2 drops green food coloring
1 pint sour cream
3 T. sugar
1/2 t. vanilla

Crush whole Oreos, including frosting centers, to make 2 cups of fine crumbs. Press evenly into the bottom and sides of a 10-in. springform pan.

Whip cream cheese in a mixer bowl; gradually add sugar; then add eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla, peppermint extract and green food coloring. Pour filling into crust.

Bake 40 min. at 350º F.

Whip sour cream; add sugar and vanilla. Spread on top of cheesecake and return to oven. Bake for 10 more min. Cool before removing sides from springform pan. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serves 10 to 12.
