OMG, she is a beauty. I believe everything happens for a reason and it looks like she was meant to be with you, LOL!

Reintroducing them may be weird at first, but I have no doubt they will be fine after a few days.

Good luck with her!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! Sofia was my favourite!!! I was quite sad when you didn't keep her - the photos of her and daddy are so adorable. I can't wait to see how she looks

Sofia is home!!!!

I made a
with my husband, and I think it's going to work. I'm going to try and find homes for the rescue budgies I took in a while ago, and we're going to keep Sofia!!

She is incredibly small... I don't think she's grown much at all! She's going to be a 4 pound cat like her momma.
Her face is even sweeter than it was before, and her eyes are big and orange. I'm so glad to have her back.

By the smell of her paws, I think the problem at the old house may have been that the litter wasn't changed enough... oh well. She's mine now! Heh heh heh.

I'll post some pics later.

Swear to god Shannon, this little girl has some serious show prospects!!! Look at that colour and markings!!! Give her a bath and see if you can get some of those stains out...

Welcome home Sofia!

Thanks. She is quite striking! Now that I have a class all day Saturdays, I'm not sure if I am going to be able to make as many shows as I wanted to.

Ashley- Sofia was the product of an accidental breeding between two of my cats. We didn't get dad fixed in time, and momma can't be fixed due to some health issues. Anyway, mom is an unfolded Scottish Fold and daddy is just a regular old brown tabby domestic shorthair.
Tobie (see my sig) has very unusual coloring and I show him in the household pet category, which is for mixed breeds.
Apparently, Sofia has good coloring too.

I agree...her markings are to DIE FOR!!! She really could go on the road any day with Tobie! Try to rub some white distilled vinegar with a cotton pad onto her stains, and then give her a nice bath. I LOVE Earthbath's Mango Tango Shampoo for pets...it's truly amazing pet shampoo, and very gentle. You can get it at Petco, for about $13-15.00. What a petite little girl your Sofia is! I'm so thrilled she's back with you!

I will definitely try that, once she's settled down.

She has this beautiful butterfly-shaped thing over her shoulderblades that you can't see in the pics... it's really neat! What's so special about her markings, if I may ask?
Is the the "necklace?"

What's so great about her markings??? It's clear and bright, the silver does not appear tarnished and she has not 1 necklace but two!!! She's also really high on the instep (like an Aby - tippy toes) and she has the sweetest face....

I'm no HHP judge, but I would final her anytime!!!

I hope she's not tarnished... I am guessing that little bit on her nose may be there to stay, but otherwise she is very clear-coated. Quite amazing for a moggie! The other silver that was born (a ticked tabby) has quite a bit more tarnishing on the face.

She's doing alright... getting lonely in her bathroom. Tobie sticks his paws under the door and she just hisses and growls (she has quite the growl for such a tiny tike!). She doesn't ruffle her fur though, so hopefully it will get better... I'm not worried yet. I might take Tobie in later tonight to see what happens. Any advice?

Godiva, what did Carol say regarding the color of her and Tobie's father - I STILL think he's a chocolate tabby - not a brown one. I can't figure out where the silver is coming from.

Will she stay or are you still planning on rehoming her?

The details are in the HHP show thread in the Breeder's Corner... I posted when I got back from the show. Carol thinks he's a chocolate ticked tabby or chocolate silver ticked tabby because the eyes are the wrong color for a mink, but the other three judges thought he was a lynx ticked tabby mink.
I trust Carol's opinion because she seemed even more sure of it once I showed her the pics of the other kittens in the litter. I think you were the one that suggested that color... so you were right!
I'm impressed!
About Ziggy, the dad, she said he looks like a brown tabby, but he and momma would both have to be carrying chocolate to get the litter we got.

Regarding Sofia, we're keeping her assuming she reintegrates into the kitty hierarchy around here well.
I made a deal with hubby and I'm going to try and rehome some parakeets I took in a couple years ago. Even if I don't find a home for them, I think he's won over anyway...
